Katherine walked through the trees her dark curls surrounding around her face. A silk navy blue dress clung to her body stopping just above her knees. A pair of flat sandals on her feet instead of heels. She would prefer heels but for a jaunt through the woods not the most sensible idea. She was feeling rather fashionable today but she was more or less on a hunt for food this lovely late afternoon. Katherine's dark gaze moved through the woods as she walked. She was curious what would cross her path first a silly human or an animal for her to toy with. Honestly she would prefer a human but she was feeling the burn at the back of her throat whatever came first would do.
She was out here for obscurity less chance of getting caught by the witch in town. She was into in the mood for the wrench to be thrown in. wanted warm blood straight from the source. It was so much better that way. At least in her opinion. Her dark gaze locked on a path as she moved slowly about her senses taking over as she was attempting to see what was close.
"Something has to be out to play." she said softly to herself. Katherine was very impatient and after a few minutes, she thought “to hell with it,” and headed to the boarding the house.
Katherine stood in front of the boarding house her dark brown eyes taking it in. It certainly had changed over the years from when she had first in inhabited it. Katherine moved walking up to the door her hand moving to the door knob not even bothering to knock. Even if there was a lock on the door it would break against her strength. Katherine pushed opened the door and stepped over the threshold a smirk slipping onto her lips. She moved beyond the foyer to the living room..
Katherine moved picking up an empty glass from a tray. She closed her eyes for a moment taking in a deep breath and the smells surrounding her. She quickly moved opening her eyes finding a bottle of blood and she filled the glass with it for herself. She smiled as she held her glass to her lips smelling it before taking a sip. Never could be too safe these days. Her finger trailed across the surface of a table as she passed it.
It had been just three months since Stefan had saved Damon’s life by joining Klaus, since Elena realized she loved both Salvatore brothers and she practically threw herself at Damon. But Damon didn’t care of course about the last part, because he wanted Elena just like at one point in time he wanted her. Katherine sipped on her glass of blood Remembering the old days, when both Damon and Stefan wanted her. She really did love them, but now neither of them believed it. She sighed while she continued to walk about the room. Things had been so boring for the last three months; she really needed some entertainment and hoped that someone would soon walk through the front door.
